[>] 6.16.08 Welcome back. Site clean-up is over, contact Gin if a thread you were still posting in was moved and you want it back. If your account was deleted and it shouldn't have been, sorry, but you did not contact Gin after two warning emails to do so.
[>] 6.11.08 SoT will be re-opened for posting on Monday, June 16, 2008. We are going through a major clean-out so please be patient.
[>] 5.28.08Hours After Midnight is now open and ready for RPing!! Also, SoT will be going into Maintenence Mode some time after noon central time so that we can revamp the site. PM Gin about anything you want to keep that hasn't been posted in since April.
Absent We understand that things happen to make you unable to post on this site. To secure your account, make sure to tell us in this board if and when you are leaving and for how long. Muchas Gracias!
Chat Time (1 sub-board) You've got to have somewhere to let loose and talk about anything you want. For the most part, the site rules don't apply here. Just try to keep it PG-13.
Creation (1 sub-board) Once you have the form for creating your character, fill it out and make a new thread in this board. Please wait until your character is moved to the appropriate sub-board in the below Accepted Characters.
Accepted Characters (6 sub-boards) Once you have filled out the character form, your character will be evaluated by a staff member. Once accepted, it will be moved here. Do not post here!
The Dungeons (3 sub-boards) The dungeons are dingy, cold, and very dark; in fact, the only light is provided by torches lining the walls, but even those lessen as you travel to lower sub-levels.
First Floor (3 sub-boards) This floor is relatively quiet considering the fact that it is very close to ground level. It is, however, congested at least once a week, due to dueling practices.
Second Floor (2 sub-boards) Many destinations on this floor are used primarily by members of the Hogwarts Staff, but students often pass through this floor's main hall to reach classrooms on upper floors or to visit the Headmistress.
Sixth Floor (4 sub-boards) The main destinations on this floor are classrooms. It proves difficult for Slytherins and Hufflepuffs to reach this floor in time for their classes because it's so far from their common rooms.
Seventh Floor (2 sub-boards) This floor contains the Gryffindor common room, and is therefore brimming with Gryffindor students. No classrooms are located on this floor, though.
Wings and Towers (5 sub-boards) This is the place to find all the towers that reach above the seventh floor, and all corridors and wings, both obvious and easily overlooked.
Herbology Gardens (1 sub-board) The Herbology Professor keeps plants in this large garden. There are a few nice benches in the more romantic of spots along the path.
Care of Magical Creatures Outdoor Classroom Because the Care of Magical Creatures class deals primarily with magical animals, it is held near the Forbidden Forest in a small outdoor classroom.

Quidditch Pitch (2 sub-boards) The large, open field offers space for practicing Quidditch or for the games. It is open at all times.
Whomping Willow (1 sub-board) DON'T GET TOO CLOSE TO -- too late... Avoid the Whomping Willow at all costs. You never know when it is going to take a hating to you and swat your behind... or your head.
Gamekeeper's House Only a few yards from the Whomping Willow is a normal sized house where the Groundskeeper lives. It is wooden, much like Hagrid's. During The War, the ever-so-kind deatheaters demolished Hagrid's Hut and so a new one was built.

Great Lake Dark, murky lake in front of the castle. This thing is huge and it has a Giant Squid in it along with Merpeople and lots of other foul creatures. Many trees surround the Lake's shore.
This is a big no no to students under their 9th year. Although the signs say not to, many students brave this forest. There are many many dangerous creatures living here opposed to the very rare kind creatures.
Hogsmeade (10 sub-boards) Hogsmeade is a small village to the south of Hogwarts, and is the only settlement in Britain to be inhabited by only witches and wizards. Students can visit here on the weekends and occasionally on weeknights with the Headmistress or Deputy Headmaster's permission.
London There are many places outside of Hogwarts. London is one of the buisiest wizarding cities in Europe. The Ministry is closed but Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley are still thriving.
