When Chris saw Clover running toward him it worried him more than he’d expected. He would have thought that seeing Clover safe would sooth his worries… wrong. She was running toward him frantically, freaking out, had she just-… impossible. Even with magic he hadn’t seen that, and she wasn’t using magic. Of course the forbidden forest was… but no.
“C-Chris! What’s g-going on?!” Chris would have been happy to help but Clover seemed to move through him. He didn’t feel a thing. It was like an optical illusion. She just… wasn’t. She grabbed for his hand and went through it. He shuddered and felt chills down his spine.
Clover squealed and her eyes got wide like giant spheres. “Why am I passing through objects?” She asked in a panic. Chris opened his mouth, not even in attempt to speak… just to maintain the action of breathing. Before he could try to say anything Clover reached him again and this time he felt her.
Chris saw Clover looking at him as if he could answer her unspoken questions. He didn’t really feel anything at that moment, so he just pulled her close. Hugging her for a moment without speech it occurred to him that he, more than previously, hated the Forbidden Forest. Bending down and picked Clover up, bridal style, Chris smiled at her.
“I don’t know what just happened… but I, myself, have a preference for sunlight… the forest disagrees with me… and if we’re going to be hanging out… I don’t want you to have an unfair advantage…” He said, setting Clover down at the edge of the forest, “Because if you can run through things and I can’t… we just shouldn’t have any trees to run through.” He shrugged, allowing his extremely rare good nature get the best of him for the moment.

Clover bit her lip as he carried her and shut her eyes, trying her best to relax and keep calm. “I don’t know what just happened… but I, myself, have a preference for sunlight… the forest disagrees with me… and if we’re going to be hanging out… I don’t want you to have an unfair advantage…Because if you can run through things and I can’t… we just shouldn’t have any trees to run through.”
She nodded and let a small weak smile and his joke. It comforted her to see him calm in this situation. As though nothing was wrong with her. She did her best to pass it through her mind. She shuddered again and yelped, falling through his hands and landing on the ground. She looked confused, they were out of the forbidden forest by now.
“I-I think I know how to do this...” She said. “Stay still.” She whispered and she forced herself to have that shivering feeling once more and moved her hand to his leg and watched as it passed through. “It’s me Chris!” She said but she felt better about it as long as Chris wasn’t freaking out.
She pulled her hand back to herself, the ice cold feeling in her body leaving and she felt normal again. This time, she inched her hand towards his leg and then touched it nervously.
“What are you going to do now huh? You can’t hit me with snow.” She said, laughing. She looked up at him and stuck her tongue out. This had to be normal...The only thing one would need to worry about was this happening unintentionally or her not being able to phase back to normal.

Clover went down a bit sloppily, but that was mostly out of Chris’ control, so once he was sure she wouldn’t be hurt from the brief fall he took a few steps back. It was a nice day, but that didn’t effect Chris’ mood, Clover effected his mood. She was worried right now, and he was doing his best to keep from acting worried. If this kept up he’d become worried, but for these moments he was alright, for now.
“I-I think I know how to do this… Stay still.” Chris folded his arms, giving her an encouraging eye brow raise. Normally that wasn’t encouraging, but with Chris most people took what they could get. Then she looked focused and passed her hand through his leg. He couldn’t feel it, but he was certainly not excited that she’d done it. Let her try her new… ability out on a tree or something… he was completely unenthusiastic about the idea of her doing that to him anymore. “It’s me Chris!” She exclaimed. Chris gave her a weak smile, at least she was happy about this.
“Lovely.” Chris mumbled, watching Clover begin to laugh,
“What are you going to do now huh? You cant’ hit me with snow.” Oh… yeah, Chris thought, like he’d ever been able to do it before now. When you’re a baby people don’t slam you with snowballs… and by the time they were old enough to play in the snow together, she was better than him at it. Totally unfair, but life would move along accordingly. Seeing her stick her tongue out made Chris smirk,
“Not as if I could hit you before… but I bet if I could do that… you’d still beat me.” He sighed, amusing himself with the truth.

[[Oi! No passing through solid objects. Ghosts do that, not humans or wizards/witches. It's fine in the last few posts but no more!]]

][Okay, sorry about that!][
Clover stood up with a smile, a small ball of snow in her hand. She grinned at her older brother. "Mercy?" She asked him, doing a fake evil laugh. "Oh Chris, you so silly!" She grinned. She worked on patting her snow more firmly, it was quite a perfect snowball.
She walked around him with a smirk still. "When am I going to get you? I don't know..." She said and finally she jumped on his back, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and hanging off of him.
She laughed, smiling brightly. She was becoming happy again and she didn't know where she would be without her brother. She made a small growling sound jokingly and bit her lip as she tried to climb up him.

“Mercy? Oh Chris, you so silly!” Chris raised an eye brow at her. Taunting him as she perfected her snowball more, he snorted. “When am I going to get you? I don’t know…” She said, Chris let out a laugh as she jumped on his back. He helped her adjust on his back, wrapping his arms around behind his back for a sort of seat for her.
“So what now, Clover? Since I am apparently either a taxi or just a climbing tree.” Chris mused, taking a few steps forward and spinning in a circle. His equilibrium was fairly stable so he was able to spin around for a short time before stopping and taking one or two wobbly steps forward. He managed to get set straight pretty quickly, “So how’s the view up there, even if I’m not a tower?” Chris asked good naturedly. He wasn’t short, but when you walk around with someone taller all day your height seems a bit lesser by comparison.
Chris walked around a bit more, bouncing Clover up whenever he felt like she was slipping, he was strong enough to keep this up until she got tired, so he wasn’t worried. “How’re you feeling?” He asked finally, walking around the lake.

She smiled as he wrapped his around himself to hold her up. “So what now, Clover? Since I am apparently either a taxi or just a climbing tree.” Chris mused, taking a few steps forward and spinning in a circle. She giggled a bit and clung onto him more as he kept spinning.
She watched her surroundings happily and gazed out at the lake with dreamful eyes. “How’re you feeling?” He asked finally, walking around the lake. She nodded and smiled at him, "I'm doing so much better right now." She said and hugged him a bit, tightening her arms around his shoulders a bit.
"What about you?" She asked him, nuzzling her cheek against his. She was happy and she was looking towards the forest. She turned her head to look back there and she stared confused. "C-Chris?" She asked him, sounding quite perplexed.
She saw a figure had been watching them, all dressed in a black cloak. As soon as he noticed Clover had seen him, he rushed behind trees, hiding once more in the darkness of the forest. Clover watched in the darkness. She had a really uneasy feeling.
Her heart raced a bit, she was really uneasy about this. She suddenly heard loud howling coming from where she had seen the figure run to and she froze, staying close to her brother.

Chris was happy to hear Clover giggling, even if she was squeezing him a bit tighter than was preferable. When asked how she was feeling Clover replied, “I’m doing so much better right now.” she added a sort of hug to this, which made Chris smile.
“What about you?” Clover asked, nuzzling his cheek. Chris took a breath, giving it some thought, how was he? He wasn’t usually asked, except by Christos, and sometimes it got tedious when he asked.
“I’d call today a good day. So I’m doing just great.” Chris said honestly. He was able to spend an afternoon with his baby sister where almost nothing had gone wrong… more or less. And he was happy. But then Clover spoke again,
“C-Chris?” She was staring toward the forest. Chris looked over in time to catch the end of a black cloak disappearing behind the trees. He felt a shudder run down his spine. He knew Clover would be worried. He was worried.
Chris took a few steps back right before he heard a loud howling noise from the forest. Great. Lovely. Tremendous. Could not a day pass without something bad happening? Could not an hour go by without Chris being reminded of the bane of his existence? Wolves. Werewolves in particular, but he was hoping this one was just a wolf.
Chris moved back again, walking backward, each step steady. He knew his way around the grounds, and he would be able to tell if he hit anything. But he did not want to turn his back to that forest. “Clover,” he said quietly, “We’re going inside. Now.” There was no choice in that, his voice left no way for one, if she’d have even wanted to stay outside. He did not want to ruin the mood, but if there was going to be an encounter with a wolf, Chris was going to sacrifice what he needed to in order to avoid it. He walked faster, somewhat sideways, keeping Clover on his back. He was strong enough to hold her for a very prolonged period of time, if need be, so he wasn’t about to let her down unless they needed to run.

She still held onto him the entire time, enjoying her little horseback ride outside. “I’d call today a good day. So I’m doing just great.” She smiled because she loved hearing that he was happy. This made her feel a lot better about herself. She still hugged him but as soon as she had seen that thing, everything turned upside down. She could hear in his voice that he was worried and this made her worry even more.
She held on a little bit tighter, not too tight, in order to make things easier in case they had to start running. She watched the figure intently, staring at its every move. She didn’t see it for a bit until suddenly the creature, still in its black cloak, began crawling out into the open. She couldn’t even see its face as it was covered by the hood but she could that it was watching them.
She bit her lip and stared as it went onto its hind-legs and let out another loud howl, echoing through the air. “Chris!” She gasped out of fear, shutting her eyes tightly and burying her face into his shoulder.

Chris knew Clover was watching it, he was too, but less intently. He was more focused on getting Clover inside. It wasn’t that he couldn’t fight; it was that he didn’t want anything to happen to Clover. It began to walk out, still wearing a cloak. Chris hated cloaks now, and that thing. And wolves. He hated only certain things, but he hated them a lot.
“Clover, if you have to run, you will run.” Chris said softly. “You will run inside.” There was no way that anyone thought he was giving her an option in the matter. It was a simple fact, if he told her to run, she had to run. He was hoping that he didn’t have to do that, but he would cover the bases incase the worst occurred.
He walked faster, knowing the grounds were too big to waste any time. Chris heard it let out another howl, and he saw it on its hind-legs. “Chris!” Clover gasped, burying her face in Chris’ shoulder. Chris kept walking,
“It’s alright, Clover. It’s alright, thus far.” He said honestly. He didn’t know what it wanted or if it would attack them, but at the moment they were fine.

She kept watching it, clinging onto Chris. She was so warm right now so the shaking that she made wasn’t because she was cold but scared. “Clover, if you have to run, you will run. You will run inside.” She heard him say this as soft as he possibly could in this situation. She bit her lip. She wasn’t going to argue with this because this was an order and not an option.
“A-And if I have to run, you will run with me...” She said, keeping her cheek against his as he carried her. She jumped again as it made another loud howling sound. She squirmed and gasped. She kept an eye on the figure as Chris picked up his speed. She was amazed by how fast he could walk while moving backwards.
She was scared and it was more and more clear with each passing second. “It’s alright, Clover. It’s alright, thus far.” She nodded, still shaking against her older brother. She didn’t dare pull her eyes away from the figure.
The figure stopped, sniffed the air and then suddenly charged forward. It was running at full speed and quickly approaching the two. She froze with fear and immediately felt ill over the whole experience. This was too much pressure, fear, and her heart was getting very worked up right now. “CHRIS!” She screamed, burying her face into his shoulder.
She merely wanted to shut her eyes and the world out. This had to be some sort of nightmare but it just wasn’t. She clung onto him tightly but finally got the strength to grab her wand. “St-...Stupef-fy!” She yelled out. The stuttering didn’t allow the spell to properly cast but a purple spark shot out the tip of her wand and hit the wolf.
It luckily bought them some time to get away a little more safely because the wolf fell to the ground for a moment, dizzy. It got up again though, growled and glared at Clover. She had hurt him...He took off in a charge again, going on all four to move more quickly.

“A-And if I have to run, you will run with me…” Clover put in. Chris scowled, but knew Clover would not see it. If she had to run, the likely hood was that he wouldn’t be able to. If he could run, sure he didn’t want to get hurt. But if need be, he wouldn’t run.
“I’ll do what I need to. And you will run either way.” Chris replied under his breath. He felt Clover shaking and it only made him more uneasy. He wished she would relax, then it would help him to remain calm. But either way, he had no other options, he would remain calm.
A moment later the wolf creature charged towards Chris and Clover. Chris stiffed, but kept moving. Clover buried her face in Chris’ shoulder, screaming, “CHRIS!”
Clover grabbed her wand and shouted “St-…Stupief-fy!” at the beast. It didn’t quite work, but something did hit the monster and slow it down. Chris gently slid Clover off of his back as quickly as possible. Grabbing her arm he faced her for a moment and said,
“Now, you, run!” Chris snapped, pushing Clover away as he turned towards the wolf which was now charging for Clover. Chris knew it must be angry at Clover in particular, which only made his job harder. Had it been simply him he could have run, but now he had to protect Clover. As always. But now he wasn’t complaining, he was thinking. He pulled out his wand and shouted, “Stupify!” A streak of light hitting the wolf again. He didn’t really know how much time that would help, but he ran after Clover, turning to look at the creature every other second.

Clover clung onto him and when he said, “I’ll do what I need to. And you will run either way.” Her grip loosened a bit, not liking what he had replied. She watched a bit still, wanting to say something in response to this but didn’t. It wasn’t worth it at all. After she cast the spell, she felt Chris’ hand on her arm and he faced her quickly as he could. She bit her lip, her heart already racing and her breath already sharpening. “Now, you, run!”
She was scared and stiffened up a bit but took off, running as quickly as she could. She gasped and did what her brother told her to do. She ran, looking back a lot which slowed her down. She had to make sure that Chris was safe and following.
As the streak of lightning hit the wolf, suddenly, it transformed. It shifted into a human, slipping to the ground with a cloak around him. He looked as though he was the age of 20 and around his neck was a heart necklace. It was a pure red colour.
He smirked, seeing the two run away and then, he suddenly took his necklace from around his neck and slammed it down onto the ground. As he had done that, Clover fell forward and hit the ground hard, as if some sort of useable force slammed her down to the ground. He smirked still and kept the necklace on the ground and she couldn’t move.

Chris was glad at least that Clover did as he told her, running and all, but it didn’t seem to do much good, because all of a sudden Clover tripped or something and was on the ground. “Clover, c’mon!” Chris snapped, not angrily, but hurriedly. He tried to pull Clover up but it didn’t seem to work. Oh, great.
Chris looked back at the wolf, but instead there was a young man, holding something red. He looked smug, Chris would have punched that smug expression off him if he were closer, but he didn’t really want the distance to close, not with Clover to look out for.
“Clover, what is wrong?” Chris asked, knowing something must be keeping her trapped there. There wasn’t really anything he could think to do. Thinking more clearly he knew spells didn’t work on werewolves, that was annoying. But he looked pretty human right now, Chris stopped thinking almost all together, it was hurting his head. So he was a werewolf, obviously. Chris hated werewolves. He hates wolves a lot, werewolves were worse. He didn’t talk to Clover about it, he figured she would probably start asking about their parents. If he hates werewolves didn’t that mean he hated their father? His opinion of their father was for him to know and no one else to know, except perhaps his father… if he ever surfaced again. If that happened Chris felt as though his opinion of his disappearing parents would be evident, good or bad. He knelt down by Clover, holding his wand ready at his side.

She swallowed roughly, her throat dry. The man pulled the necklace off the ground and back around his neck. He was walking to them with a smirk on his face and something in his hand.
Clover sat up instantly, catching her breath. "I-I couldn't move!" She said, trying to scramble to get up. She saw the man closing the gap between them. He reached them and knelt down to Clover, grabbing her arm. He suddenly pulled her off the ground and was dragging her away.
Getting scared, her instinct made her kick the man but he wouldn't let her go. "Chris!" She screamed. The man was just taking her like that.
