Amanda slipped out of the bathroom, finishing her hair. Her red strawberry blonde curls rest on her perfectly and was at a side part. Her bangs came aross just barely on her right eye. She wore a black skirt with a thick belt that had a silver buckle that was rounded and had small fake diamonds on them. She wore black leggings and black high healed shoes with a small bow at them. They were expensive and cost her a lot of her money but she loved them. She slipped on a dark pink t-shirt and then slipped on a few bracelettes and some earings that pulled attention to her face. She took one last in the mirror and smiled seeing her in little make up and sitll looking hot.
She slipped out with her coat and started to the new club she found in an ally way. She walked down the dark alley then a sign that brightened up in her vision caught her eye. She grinned and picked up her pace and opened the door to get away from the cold air. She looked around at the place, live music, dark, but not too dark, lots of people, mixed ages. It was awesome. She took off her coat and slid into a chair putting the coat on the back. The waitress came and she ordered a cherry coke.
----
Josh stood in the back wearing nothing too special, he had on a pair of dark jeans and a white pull over. He had on guy bracelette on his left hand and his guitar strap running acros his chest. This is what he wanted for so long, to get the chance to go out and play music. He wouldn't have to sing... just play his guitar if he wanted too. He paced as the girl with a headset on said he was up next for the next hour and a half. Hour and a half But of course there was his fifteen minute breaks mixed in there somewhere. He sighed. He wasn't ready for this was he?
"Josh your up! Go!" the woman pointed to the curtain and he moved up to it "Come on! He introduced you already! Go!"
Im ready. He sighed and made he way on stage. So many people at this new club. He took the stook, he would start with just a guitar piece... and then move on to maybe a song with lyrics... if he felt comfortable about it. He got comfy in his chair and then let his fingers do the talking, every now and then flinching his head to the side so his black hair would move out of the way.

Ace walked down the dark alley, following the directions Amanda had given him for the club. Typical it had to be down a dark alley though, he had to laugh at that most of the clubs he had seen in movies had been very much the same.
But tonight, tonight he was here for Amanda, she had invited him and it seemed to him like a good idea for a first date...definetely something different to alot of the other first dates he had been on.
He reached the doorway and took a deep breath...why was he so nervous, it was only Amanda....and they had already had sex...so what was there to be nervous about. He shook off his nerves and pushed the door open.
"Wow...this place is packed...how am I meant to find her in here"
He said to himself as he made his way through the crowd towards the bar.

Clad in a cobalt blue, knee-length trench coat, Kaydence Faulkner entered this new club. Not too shabby, she thought to herself, nodding as her hazel eyes scanned the place. Her normally wavy chestnut brown hair was now set in bouncy curls.
Underneath her coat, which would be removed, Kaydence wore a khaki skirt that fell just above her knees and a powder blue halter-top. She just mascara and some bronzer. Her freshly shaved legs were soft enough that she didn't need to wear pantyhose (she hated them, anyways). She had on black stiletto heels. The only pary of them that were open-toed was a little peep-hole in the front; just enough to see two of her red-painted toenails. Her fingernails were painted with a matching red.
The music didn't phase Kaydence at first. First, she had to fight her way through the crowd to the bar, where she ordered some banana drink on ice. It was very tasty.
Seeing no one she knew, Kaydence decided to sit on a barstool and listen to the music, her bare legs crossed. Kaydence loved acoustic guitars. They were soothing compared to electric. She did like the fast music with electric guitars, but not nearly as much as the mellow, clear sound that came from the acoustic guitar. There was something about the way this guy played that made Kaydence's stomach fill with those butterflies.
Butterflies? she thought. I haven't gotten butterflies since I was like thirteen years old.
She shook aside the butterflies (though they were still there) and continued to absorb the music while she took tiny sips of her drink. It was starting to get watered down from the ice cubes.
Oh well.
A group of teenagers decided to start pushing each other around. Laughing, they stumbled to the side and backwards and forwards and downwards, the collecting themselves and pushing somebody else. One of the teenagers happened to stumble right into Kaydence; stumbled so hard that she spilled her drink all over herself and fell off of her stool, the glass shattered all over the floor. People stared.
Wonderful.

Amanda looked around for Ace but didn't see him. The waitress plopped her cherry coke opn the tabel and then walked off. Amanda could tell she was eager to see the new men entering the club. Amanda sipped her coak and looked around, she hadn't seen him come in the door...she looked down at her watch. It was eight, and she guessed that he wasn't the type to be late.
She slid out of her chair and looked around, holding her coak in her hand. She always kept her drinks with her, fearing some guy was going to drug her into her bed. She walked around and went to the bar, she saw Ace and grinned "Ace! Over here!"
When Ace didn't turn around she scowled and moved a bit faster to catch up when she felt someone grab ahold on her wrist. she turned to see a guy about her age. He looked cuted... and well familiar too. She squinted and looked at him closer and he moved in and smiled "Havem't seen you in awhile Amanda."
The voice was a dead give away, and she glared at him "Not in the mood Tony, Im here with my boyfriend." she yanked her arm away and he snatched it again.
"A boyfriend? Seeing a different view on that these days?" he sneered at her and drew her in real close.
Her eyes stayed sharp on him "Hes not you, hes different, someone I can trust and be with." he tightened his grip on her and she made a small whimper "I see you haven't changed your ways... still beating girls?" Yeah she went out with jerks. But they were never boyfriend, girlfriend, they were... well... a few lousy dates and this once seemed to feel like he owned her after that. It was a hard break up.
He shook her and her glass spilled slightly "I don't hit... you just stepped in the way of my hand." She rolled her eyes and broke her arm free. She stared at him for a second and shook her head then walked away. He tried to grab for her but she slipped off.
She was never one to lose her temper in public. She found Ace sitting at the bar and she walked up to him happily. She kissed his cheek and grinned "Hello.. nice to see you here."
-----
Josh played the guitar but glanced up slightly to see a girl get pushed out of her seat. He crossed his brows and wanted to help her up, no one else did. But he stayed in his seat playing. He couldn't stop the show for a girl he didn't know could he? He looked at the crowd as she slowed ther guitar piece. Once he stopped everyone clapped and he smiled "Thank you..." he said into the microphone. "That was just a little something I wrote..."
He propped his guitar up some and looked at them "I uh... well I am going to play an older song called Wonderful Tonight... by Eric Clapton." He strong his guitar and and started the tune and then he got into the song. He opened his mouth and let the lyrics flow soothingly out.
"Its late in the evening
Shes wondering what clothes to wear
She puts on her make up
And brushes her long blonde hair
And then she asks me
"Do I look alright?"
And I say "yes, you look wonderful tonight"
We go a party
And everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady
Thats walking around with me
And then she asks me
"Do you feel alright?"
And I say "yes, I feel wonderful tonight" I feel wonderful
Because I see the love light in your eyes
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just dont realize
How much I love you
Its time to go home now
And Ive got an aching head
So I give her the car keys
She helps me to bed
And then I tell her
As I turn out the light
I say "my darling, you were wonderful tonight
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight"

Ace heard Amanda call out the first time, but hadn't been able to turn around in time to acknowledge her, but he had seen the guy talking to her, he smiled when she made her way over to him.
"Of course, couldn't leave you alone with scum like him could I?"
He said nodding in the guys direction, a scowl on Ace's face as he looked at him.
"What's his problem anyway?"

Scowling, Kaydence picked herself back up as the sputtering-laughing teenager apologized. She held up a hand as to say "don't worry about it" and the teenager staggered off in a fit of laughter. She sat back on her barstool and realized that her coat was wet from the drink, so she removed it, revealing the previously described ensemble. Kaydence then returned her attention to the music.
Kaydence listened with eager ears when the performer began to sing. He sounded good, she thought after the first line. After a few moments, something sparked inside of her.
I know this song.
Not only did she know it, she loved it. Her father used to sing it to her mother on his acoustic.
How sweet, she thought, his girlfriend must be in here somewhere.
Absentmindedly, Kaydence looked around, trying to find a girl who was swooning. Evidently, he had a lot of girlfriends, for a swarm of girls were gawking at the stage. She didn't blame them. Despite his somewhat emo look, this guy had talent. His voice was wonderful. It wasn't loud and soulful, but quiet and smooth; low, too.
By now, Kaydence was grinning so widely that the sides of her mouth began to twitch.

Amanda smiled and kissed his lips "Who you looking at?" she asked and turned to see him looking at Tony. She sighed "Hes a guy I went on a few dates. After them he seemed to think he had control. And I managed to get away from for a long time. Guess he came back to the city." She shurgged pretending she didn't care he was here. She wasn't going to let that jerk ruin her night. Nor was she going to let Ace ask a bunch of questions on him, though she left some things out. Like the lovely bruises he managed to add to her body on a few dates...
She slid into a chair and got real close to Ace. "If he comes over sometime tonight just ignore him. Don't let him ruin our date. Ok?" she took a sip of her drink and playfully nudged Ace "So tell me something I don't know about my Ace."
---
Josh finished out the song and looked at the crowd, people where watching him like they cared and he smiled. That was something he wanted. People liking his music or well the music he played and believing in it. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted the lady with the headset waving her hands like a mad woman. He turned to see her holding a sign tell him to explain the show. He looked at the crowd and laughed "Well I guess plans tonight have changed. I wont be playing for an hour and a half straight. They are going to switch up the singers for every two songs."
He stood up and nodded to the crowd and then walked off as another man came on. The woman smiled at him "You did great killed... we will buzz ya when you are up. Otherwise go up front and have some fun."
Josh smiled and put his guitar away and set it in the safe where they kept most of the guitars. He was happy he had gotten a chance to play two songs. The original plan was that theyd fit him in when they can since he wasn't as popular a singer as the others. But one didn't show, he guessed that one showed up.
He made his way to the front with the rest of the people watching the stage. Girls pasted by him and giggled and he smiled sweetly. He walked to the bar and ordered a butterbeer and then set out to find the blonde. He saw some laugh teens and made his way over. None of them were her. He frowned and then he saw her. He smiled and walked to the table "Seat taken?" he asked her as he pointed to the chair across from her.

"Hmmmm"
Ace said tearing his gaze from the other guy, whom slipped quietly into the crowd and back to Amanda whom seemed intent on keeping his thoughts and attention on her that night.
"Well let's see.....well you know a bit about my parents...my mum treats me like a little boy still and I think my dad understands me alot more now than he once did....erm I play Quidditch for Hufflepuff, although I haven't put my name down this year yet"
His hand entwining itself with hers as they sat at the bar, looking around again.
"So how did you know about this place?"

Maria walked into the club with style. She walked over to a random table, and sat one leg on the other. She smiled to everyone who passed by her. She looked around the joint, biting her lip lightly in the process, looking for anyone she knew.
She saw Ace but didn't want to bother him. She sat there quietly, still looking. Then she decided to stop and she looked down. Thoughts came to mind, her mind blocking out the music.

When the song finished, Kaydence clapped whole-heartedly and cheered a bit. She then ordered another drink. Some peach thing this time.
Mmm, I should come here more often. Great music, good drinks.
Sipping her beverage through a straw, Kaydence noticed that the singer got off stange. Her heart sank. She wanted to hear what else he could do. Sighing, she continued to sip her drink. Setting it down, she looked at her coat. It was still damp. She sighed again and folded it into her lap.
Kaydence picked up her drink once more and began to sip the sweet liquid. Mid-sip, she noticed that the singer was walking in her direction. The butterflies were back.
Dangit.
The straw was still in her mouth and she stared wide-eyed at the boy, who motioned to the stool next to her.
"Seat taken?"
Shaking her head, Kaydence set the drink back on the counter. "Not at all," she answered and smiled, her muscles tensed. She began to pick at her own fingernails.

Amanda smiled listening to him. Quidditch... not her favorite sport, but she still enjoyed the games "Oh you should put your name down! So I can be one of those girlfriends that goes to every game and cheers their boyfriends on." She laughed, but she was serious. She wanted to see him play. "What position do you play?" she asked sitting her coke again.
She watched him glance around, and for some reason she figured it was to watch for Tony. Tony was a pain, he would do anything to get what he wants. And as far as she knew he wanted her, but only for revenge. She dumped him and they weren't even going out.
She looked away from Ace, but heard his question "Oh I was just walking really... saw a sign and thought it looked cool." She grinned "And the dark alley made it seem dangerious, so I poked around and went in." She looked arcoss the bar and saw Tony, he was staring right at her. She turned back to Ace and frowned "I really would like to keep our date just me and you but... I should tell you... Tony, the guy, he isn't nice." She sighed and got real close as she saw Tony leave his chair.
She sipped her drink hoping that Tony would leave, maybe he found a girlfriend. But what girl in their right mind would go out with him officually like she was Ace? She felt someone take the seat next to her and then put a hand on her back. "Oh hey baby there you are... I have been looking for you everywhere."
Her eyes darkened, so he was playing that 'im really your date' game. She gritted her teeth and turned to him "Tony, go away. Find a little girl you can push around, because thats not me." She turned back to Ace ignoring him.
Tony looked at her blankly and then looked at Ace and smiled "This girl is nuts. I came with her, she slipped away.." he put his hand around her wrist. She tightened waiting for him to grip it hard. He didn't yet "Come on."
She pulled her wrist away and looked at him "Tony, this is Ace Shiver. My boyfriend."
Tony nodded to him "She doesn't have boyfriends you know. The girl plays with anything that has two legs and a dick."
------
Josh smiled at her and slid into the chair. She wasn't like most girls he had seen as he walked by. The others were staring at him and giving him odd looks, that seemed to ask for him to come hither. Sadly it freaked him out a little bit. He sipped his butterbear and then turned to her slightly "Oh sorry... heh for got to introduce myself." He offered her his hand "Names Josh Boq."
He smiled, one of his best smiles. So he thought she was cute. He wants to have a little fun before he had to go up stage again. He thought if he had to go back up he was going to be sick. He liked it though, but it made him so nervous. He normally wasn't nervous or anything he normally was just relaxed and calm. He gussed that sometimes something has to perk up your nerves.

Ace had been about to answer Amanda, when the sleeze from before came up behind her and put his hands on her, Ace stood up almost instantly and glared at Tony.
"Back off alright buddy....you know as well as I do that she didn't come here with you, nor will she be leaving with you"
Ace said as he moved in between Amanda and Tony, he wasn't afraid...it was obvious that Tony had been drinking and searching for young girls to prey on.
"And if she is as you say, just chasing after anything with two legs and a dick....why would she even look at you"

Kaydence smiled at Josh. Even his speaking voice was smooth and chocolatey. It was all she could do to keep from fainting. "I'm Kaydence Faulkner," she returned the introduction. She considered leaning in and smelling him. No, that would be weird. Maybe...
She inhaled deeply without looking obvious. She had a fetish for smells. If he smelled bad, then she'd give him no chance. Luckily for her, he smelled fantastic. Sort of like that stuff Braedon almost bought at the muggle store. She hadn't let him, however, for she found it too sexy. She would not let her brother have sexy cologne. At least not whilst Kaydence was a teenager and had hormones.
She figured "You smell fabulous, kiss me" would be the wrong thing to say, so she looked over at the stage, where a large black woman was belting out some jazz. Kaydence looked back at Josh. "Do you play here a lot?" She asked.
Dumb question. Of course he doesn't. This place just opened.
"Nevermind," she said, laughing at herself and shaking her head. She sipped her peach drink. "You did very well on stage. 'Wonderful Tonight' is one of my favorite songs. Normally, someone who tries to redo it completely butchers it. That wasn't the case for you, though. You sounded wonderful."
Small talk? No, flirting. Good. She smiled at herself, still gazing into Josh's eyes, holding onto the condensating, almost-empty glass.

Amanda sat quietly and watched Ace stand between them. For once she had met a guy that was decent, she smiled at him. She then looked at Tony and scowled, she wanted to say so many things to him but there was nothing to say, Ace was handling it just fine. She watched Tonys face turn red with Ace's remark and his grow sharper in anger. He looked like he was going to hit him, it wasn't the face he made with her when he gave her bruises. It was a flat out "im coming back for you buddy" face.
The times he gave her bruises was when she wasn't listening to him, and she wasn't agreeeing on dating him as boyfriend girlfriend thing. She remembered how much that annoyed him when she said she didn't like having attachments.
"Tony just go." she said from behind Ace. She wouldn't move she felt shelter behind him. She sipped her drink calmly but still kept an eye on him.
Tony shook his head and turned around "This wont be the last I see her... tonight. Or ever.." he muttered and walked away.
She sipped her drink and glanced away from where Tony was "None of what he said was true you know. I don't chase guys, they come to me." she laughed slightly, trying to make a little humor out of what just happened. She looked at Ace and slid her hands in his pockets and pulled him close "Hes just jealious you know. He wasn't able to tie me down, and you were." she grinned and kissed his lips, holding it for sometime, loving his warmth. She pulled away just slightly and whispered against his mouth "Now where were we?"
-----
Josh smiled at her question "Well I hope to play here a lot. It would be nice. But for now I am just a filler." He liked her, she seemed nice and sweet. He took a sip and glanced around the room. All the girls looked sweet though, but he doubted that half of them were. Soem girls in his mind could be vicious, and well Kaydence, just from talking to her for a little bit, didn't seem like the type. If she was she would allow him sit but think he was weird for introducing himself.
He caught the eye of some girl and he watched her face flush. It was cute. He turned back to Kaydence hearing her voice and grinned at her compliments "Thank you. I was so nervous up there, you have no idea." he took another sip and turned his chair a little bit so he wouldn't seem like he was being rude. Yeah he has wondering eyes, but he gets distracted a lot, likes to check things out, but doesn't mean he isn't listening.
He nodded as she mentioned 'Wonderful Tonight'. He looked at her straight in the eyes and smiled, they were hazel pretty eyes, something he could stair in all day. He shook his head a bit coming back to what she was saying "Well I am glad you liked it, not many people know that one. I got it from my mother... she sang it a lot. And it might sound girly but, meh, I grew a liking to it. Thought some day when I found the right person I will sing it to her."
He sipped his drink and closed his eyes "Sorry.. you probabally don't care about that."

The club was far from Hogwarts. Ike Barinholtz had learned to apparate, so he had managed to reach Diagon Alley with little difficulty.
It was very dark outside, and Ike and his best friend Bobby Lee wouldn't have found the club if it hadn't been for the bright flashing lights signifying its presence. Who puts a night club in an alley, anyway?
The two Gryffindors had just walked through the door, Ike shivering from the cold air outside, even though he was wearing a black jacket over his white t-shirt. Bobby was immediately overwhelmed by the loud noises, music, and unfamiliar faces, and Ike had to shake him and yell in his ear to keep his attention.
He wondered if his friend had even been to a club like this before. It was going to be an interesting night...
