Cypress looked about, surveying her new surroundings. A classroom in Hogwarts was much more free to be modified by the teachers that used the,m than even the Minister of magic could do with her office... It was nice. For once, Cypress felt free in her job.
The Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom was not exactly "decorated" as one would call it, but "personalized," as Cypress was never one fond of overly decorating any room.
The main colour scheme in the room was very red - dark red, a shade light than blood red. The drapes were red, there was red shag carpet on the floor, and there were several red tapestries hung about the room with the Midna family crest on them. There were no desks, but there were benches about the sides of the room. The middle area was uncarpeted. Instead, the regular cobblestone tile was shown. It was clearly a practice/demonstration area. Cypress was always more a hands-on student and teacher. The D.A.D.A class - both excelling and teaching - was something that ran in the bloodline for a long time.
However, not even that helped her nervousness, despite the fact that she didn't show it. It was her first official class since being hired. Hopefully, she'd get along well with the children. She had also heard the stories of the previous Hogwarts D.A.D.A. teachers. That, however, did not faze her in the least. She never got a decent amount of action in the Ministry, despite hr history as Head Auror. The war was over, after all.
"Well, let's see how interesting teaching can be," she said to her self, twirling her wand, "Bring 'em on." She grinned, sitting at her desk and kicking her feet up rather casually.
