The scent of lilies was strong in the air and its smell summed up spring quite nicely. Clover loved spring. The flowers bloomed elegantly in the garden of Hogwarts and that was where she was right now. She knelt down by a small patch of pink flowers and she lightly felt the petals between her fingers.
She was so relaxed right now as she opened her book, reading it silently. She was grateful for the silence of the moment and how much better things were going at the moment. She breathed in the smell of flowers and then laid down flat on the grass. Watching the sky, she couldn't help but wonder she was going to do with her life.
That was quite a vast thing to think about. It's hard to figure out right away what she was going to do with her life as she had so many years of Hogwarts ahead of her. She loved and excelled at Astroloogy, Defence Against the Dark Arts and Care of Magical Creatures. She wouldn't mind teaching though.
She smiled at the thought of her teaching at Hogwarts. She shut her eyes and listened to all the sounds around her, the warmth of everything bearing down on her. Sound. That was anouther thought. She loved music, especially the piano. She opened her eyes now to look up at the clouds and she couldn't help but see a resemblance in a cloud to a rose.
The rose reminded her of Jude. It was a strange connection to make but she remembered that on her birthday last year, Jude gave her a rose he had picked himself. She smiled now, thinking of how he had cuts on his fingers from rummaging through roses to find the perfect one. All the thorns had cut his fingers.
She smiled at the memories and shut her eyes, simply wanting to lie her in the peace and tranquility all day. She thought back to her last birthday and what Jude had done for her. She remembered the song he sang to her.
She sighed and exhaled deeply. She had been so caught up in the happenings that she didn't even realize that it was her birthday today. Jude usually reminded her of the happier things like that.

There used to be a greying tower alone on the sea.
You became the light on the dark side of me.
Love remained a drug that's the high and not the pill.
But did you know,
That when it snows,
My eyes become large and
The light that you shine can be seen.
I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grave.
The more I get of you,
Stranger it feels, yeah.
And now that your rose is in bloom.
A light hits the gloom on the grave.
